Receiving the calls will be a host of all-female volunteers, most of whom are social and health workers, and even some educators. The hotline will be completely anonymous and anyone can call for free. The project comes after a study showed that one of the most pressing issues experienced by local women is isolation and poor mental health. The project is centred on creating a hotline where women can seek help, advice, and even just a shoulder to cry. The project is reportedly backed by The Queen, The Crown Princess, and Princess Ingrid, and the royal mother-daughter trio are incredibly proud of the collaboration. The Royal Foundation has launched a new project in cooperation with local charity Brindleton Women’s Centre (BWC) called “1-800-Women-for-Women.” ROYAL LADIES LAUNCH “WOMEN FOR WOMEN” HOTLINE CRITICS SCREAM “HYPOCRISY”
